To fulfill coursework requirements for the Ph.D. in Education, an Internship is necessary.
It was a cold day in January 2010 when the fateful email alerted me to a most incredible opportunity – to actually intern at my own academic institution in aiding the school attain Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) accreditation for Distance Education.
Forces colliding between my interests in academic leadership, distance education, project management and host of other tangibles and intangibles; this was too good to be true.
