So some (actually a significant amount) of what you’ll find here will be a blend of current events and historical yammering. I’ll do my best to make it clear (but it will likely be pretty obvious).
Let’s begin with a little history just for fun, a quick rundown (from Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, MD on November 2, 1963 at 11:46PM for a whopping hospital bill of $250.00) to present.
Blur of a childhood dominated by Boy Scouting with Troop 204 which met (and still meets) at Bethesda United Methodist (which happened to be not even a stone’s throw from my home at 8209 Custer Road).
Delivered the Washington Post from 5th grade (attending Bethesda Elementary) through high school (product of Thomas Pyle and Walt Whitman – in the days of the Dome).
UMD/CP for a snappy five-year program.
Coast Guard for a snappy 21-year program.
During which, I became a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ under the wonderful community at the Kodiak Bible Chapel while stationed at CGAS Kodiak.
During which, while stationed at CG Activities San Diego, met and married the most wonderful bride any man could have (its true, just ask her).

And now working as a Fed in blissful employment in D.C. with the Department of Homeland Security.
Also a Ph.D student at George Mason University.
What currently keeps me busy…….(DHS Job Description)
There, for capturing 44 years in 10 lines, that wasn’t too painful, was it?
